Tips & Help with stains for textiles/fabric

General care and maintenance advice for upholstered furniture and/or box spring:

  • Vacuum your furniture at least once a week (most vacuum cleaners are fitted with an upholstery attachment)!
  • The following applies to all detergents: test on an inconspicuous area first (to ensure that there is no discolouration).
  • Always treat stains with a clean and white absorbent cloth (e.g. cotton).
  • It is always better to blot or dab the stain, rather than rub it.
  • Always clean stains from the outside edges inward to avoid leaving a ring!
  • Pets should preferably not be allowed on the furniture, unless you give your furniture EXTRA care and protection. Furniture is not intended for dogs or cats. Furniture upholstery is especially vulnerable to damage caused by pets.

How to treat liquid stains

  • Always use white absorbent (unprinted) tissue paper first to remove the stain. Afterwards, treat the stain with a clean tissue and clean water!
  • If the stain is still visible, treat it with the stain remover provided (Easyclean) and follow the instructions on the packaging! Repeat the process if necessary!
  • Stains that cannot be removed must be reported on www.eurofurnitureservice.eu within three working days (you will need your registration code for this).

How to treat solid stains

  • Scrape as much of the stain off (immediately) with e.g. a teaspoon.

Important!

Royal Textile Care Easyclean is a detergent that has been especially developed for upholstery fabrics. However, not all detergents are suitable for cleaning upholstery. It is important therefore that you do not use any other cleaning detergents to treat your upholstery fabric!
